Basking in more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year, this hotel is a prime destination all year around. Located just 900 m from the beach and around 17 km from the city centre, the hotel is built in the style of an Andalusian castle with huge gates, marble paths, high pillars and domes. The hotel is situated in the holiday resort of Hurghada, which is known for its crystal-clear waters, untouched reefs and a multitude of shipwrecks, making it one of the best Egyptian diving destinations. Hurghada can satisfy the needs of every visitor, from scuba diving to windsurfing to desert safaris. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the airport. This resort comprises a total of 222 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests include a laundry and dry cleaning services, 24-hour doctor and medical services, and many speciality shops located in the resort annexe, including a bookshop selling souvenirs and postcards, a jewellery shop, a papyrus shop, carpet shop, mini market, T-shirt shop, perfume shop and silver outlet. The hotel houses the biggest entertainment and banqueting centre in the Middle East, featuring a rare combination of Oriental Andalusian architecture with royal gates, domes, towers and the never-ending fantasy of Egyptian charm. This is a place where guests can sample the life of Pharaohs, the Bedouins, and the customs and traditions of the region. There is also a conference and banqueting room featuring 100 round tables, each of which seats 6 people. Guests can also be seated theatre-style (capacity of 900) or in a U-shape (capacity of 400) with audiovisual equipment available and attractive plant arrangements possible. The beautiful rooms feature private balconies, air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar and a telephone. All standard and family rooms overlook the swimming pool.
